…und ich hab mir gestern abend vor dem spiel überlegt obs nicht vielleicht doch langweilig wird irgendwann das „gegen die deutschen sein“…und obs nicht vielleicht von größe zeugt, sich einfach mit ihnen und ihren häßlichen schlachtenbummlern zu freuen, die in wohnwägen wohnen und tischstaubsauger und toilettenpapier von zuhause mitgebracht haben…..obs nicht vielleicht einmal ein neuer österreichischer weg sein könnte, so ganz für deutschland zu sein…..ob so is, darüber muss ich jetzt noch nachdenken…….

Wikipedia: ….In modern Sweden, Midsummer’s Eve and Midsummer’s Day (Midsommarafton and Midsommardagen) are celebrated from the eve of the Friday between June 19 – 25. It is arguably the most important holiday of the year, and one of the most uniquely Swedish in the way it is celebrated, even if it has been influenced by other countries long ago. The main celebrations take place on the Friday, and the traditional events include raising and dancing around a huge maypole. One typical dance is the frog dance. Before the maypole is raised, greens and flowers are collected and used to cover the entire pole.

Raising and dancing around a maypole (majstång or midsommarstång) is an activity that attracts families and many others. People dancing around the pole listen to traditional music and many wear traditional folk costumes. The year’s first potatoes, pickled herring, sour cream, and possibly the first strawberries of the season are on the menu. Drinking songs are also important at this feast, and many drink heavily(!!!).

es ist sehr leicht, sich über fremde kulturen lustig zu machen…..erst einmal ist es ratsam nachzusehen, was das eigene land so bietet und ich bin begeistert:

1) „bei uns im dorf wird gut und gerne musiziert“ nennt dort jemand seinen beitrag…..gut und gerne und vor allem lange wird da musiziert……und: * man beachte den neckischen blick des ersten akkordeonspielers

2) wenn man sieht wie sich die jugend in diesem ort „beschäftigt“ ersscheinen einem drogen und alkohol wie eine verheißung

3) auch was die bayern so machen, sieht mir nach einer „mordsgaudi“ aus

* irgendjemand hat gleich am anfang wohl den pfarrer erschossen…..oder einer der prozessionsteilnehmer hat sich selbst gerichtet…wie sonst ist der laute knall zu erklären?
